Wizard Wonky

They're just so sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!
Life's so exciting and new, they're a joy to entertain

The big secret is that they have as much to tell you as you have to tell them!
Forget my script - they've got new shoes to show me!

What do you do?
Parties for 3yr olds

3yr olds Birthday parties for little ones are great. For them I don't wear the hat (it can all be a bit much!) and I sit down with them the whole time. We get on fine. At weddings sometimes I can be with them for up to four hours - so forget whatever you thought about attention span!

My secret? Children like me! I have fun - they have fun. And you relax. The birthday child does not get dragged to the front, or made too much fuss of. It's their special day but at this age they're not usually trying to be the star of the show. So you need to be sensitive to what they want.

I tell them a little bit about Wizards but mainly I try to make a balloon animal. Of course the reason I'm so good at balloon animals is because I live on a farm. And so we sing Old MacDonalds Farm with pictures and noises. I'm checking that all the grown-ups join in too - which the children love! We might be half way through a song, but someone will suddenly want to tell me about their pretty dress. Well, that's mothers for you - but sometimes the children do too.

You have to listen and talk to them - by 4yrs old they're already more used to listening. And so it goes. That's the 45 minute Wizard Show. Lots of fun and balloons. I also bring some musical games (someone has to teach them the Hokey Cokey!) and a bubble machine - so you can book me for a second 45 minute show after the party tea.

Having said all that - if 3yr olds are with children that are older, they enjoy what the older ones enjoy by joining in. Just like grown-ups (I use the term loosely) actually enjoy what the younger ones enjoy.

How much do you cost?

I am based in Hereford but travel all over the country - even abroad. My basic charge is £195 for a 45 minute show inside a circle through Bromyard, Colwall, Monmouth, Kington.
A second show costs just an extra £125 wherever I am.
£225 as far as Leominster, Worcester, Cheltenham, Chepstow, Abergavenny, Hay.
£250 to Ludlow, Kidderminster, Evesham, Cirencester, Cwmbran, Builth Wells, Llandrindod Wells, Knighton.
When you are more than 2.5 hours away (about 100 miles) then my day rate is cheaper - it is £425. Such as Shrewsbury and north, Birmingham and north east, Oxford and west, Bristol and south and Wales. I have done more bookings in Hereford than anywhere else. BUT the second most popular place is ... HERTFORD. Its true!!
