Fetes and Fun Days

Sunny days First of all I 'meet & greet' as we say in the trade for about 15 minutes. I walk around replendent in my Wizards gown and hat with balloon animals. I point out that there is a show taking place, and where it is. I put a smile on peoples faces - especially the grown-ups. They are the important ones to you - if they're happy then they've had a good day. Then I perform my show. You've given me a place - preferably under cover (and not in the center of a huge ring!) and a time. My show can last as long as needed (see below!) but usually 20-30 minutes is plenty. I finish off by making balloon animals for all those who crowd round at the end. My show is aimed at all ages. Certainly the grown-ups are drawn in, but especially the children. There is a promise of REAL magic - as seen on television. And after a chat about Wizards, Mummies and balloon animals - the magic. This works best if there are older children who will challenge and heckle. Because one of them will find they HAVE done magic, even better than me - and receive the applause of their friends.

Wet days If it starts to rain I can take the whole crowd (at least 1000 at the Lea Show) into a tent and entertain them for an hour. It's a family show aimed at all ages. Or, when it starts to rain you can watch them all wonder about going home...

How much do you cost?

I am based in Hereford but travel all over the country - even abroad. My basic charge is £195 for a 45 minute show inside a circle through Bromyard, Colwall, Monmouth, Kington.
A second show costs just an extra £125 wherever I am.
£225 as far as Leominster, Worcester, Cheltenham, Chepstow, Abergavenny, Hay.
£250 to Ludlow, Kidderminster, Evesham, Cirencester, Cwmbran, Builth Wells, Llandrindod Wells, Knighton.
When you are more than 2.5 hours away (about 100 miles) then my day rate is cheaper - it is £425. Such as Shrewsbury and north, Birmingham and north east, Oxford and west, Bristol and south and Wales. I have done more bookings in Hereford than anywhere else. BUT the second most popular place is ... HERTFORD. Its true!!
